Engineer - ETO

Overview

Design and develop ETO mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks/AutoCAD, manage BOMs, ECNs.

Tasks

-Write and processes Engineering Change Notices (ECN's) as required. -Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of the Documentation Management System -Ensure that designs use current manufacturing, assembly and installation practices that result in a producible product. -Communicate with sales team as necessary to obtain information to prepare drawings and related documentation. -Participate in departmental or cross-functional teams toward the achievement of corporate strategic goals. -Assist Sustaining Engineers with product issues and support New Product Development for the YZ product line. -Prepare product design layouts, engineering drawings, and other technical documentation in collaboration with Product or Application Engineers. -Independently perform design assignments for simple to complex items using design standards and tools, product knowledge, design expertise, creativity and resourcefulness for new engineered orders. -Develop and maintain product structure and multi-level Bills of Materials (BOM's) using Milton Roy’s engineering standards and ERP systems.

What You Bring

-Three (3) plus years of experience preferred -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Experience in a manufacturing, machining and fabrication environment. -SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience required with three (3) plus years experience preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
