The Role

Overview

Liaise between service department and customers to manage service requests, warranties, and repairs.

Tasks

-Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and efficiency. -Create and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. -Greet customers and assess their service needs. -Accurately process warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies. -Coordinate with Shop Foreman to ensure timely completion of repairs. -Schedule service appointments and prepare repair orders. -Assist in managing service department inventory and ordering parts as needed. -Follow up on outstanding warranty claims and resolve any issues that may arise. -Maintain detailed and organized service records. -Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their satisfaction and encourage feedback. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of warranty policies and procedures. -Prepare and present accurate estimates and invoices to customers. -Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and submitted to the manufacturer in a timely manner. -Obtain customer approvals for additional services and ensure they understand the scope and cost of the work being performed. -Keep customers informed about the status of their repairs and any additional required work. -Listen to customer concerns and provide accurate information regarding repair and maintenance services.
