Tasks

-Prepares and issues specifications, Invitation to Bid, Negotiation documents, and Service Orders -Issues and updates the Shipping Notice to the various parties involved and sends a separate set of shipping documents to the field -Executes and follows up complex Shipping operation/coordination -Contacts suppliers and coordinates pick-up operations, based on the loading/shipping plan for each shipment -Defines methods and means of Transportation in agreement with Project Procurement Manager -Defines and assigns to Forwarding Agents any shipments out of Service Orders -Plans and supervises handling operations for “special items” -Issues or coordinates the issue of import-export documentation, together with the Administration Department when necessary -Provides transport cost and man-hours estimation and reports, monitors budget vs. project execution -Plans and revises shipping strategy

What You Bring

-Improves and/or modifies standard procedures -Graduation is mandatory. Technical diploma or relevant degree/ diploma in supply chain management will be an advantage -5 to 7 years of experience on management and coordination of complex shipping schemes
