Tasks

-Assist in completing specific and moderate portions of larger assignments under the guidance of an experienced engineer. -Identify and address discrepancies in results. -Perform detailed or routine engineering tasks, including calculations and basic tests for major transportation clients. -Function as the primary liaison between the client, design teams, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment. -Propose solutions for new problems by modifying standard methods or procedures from previous assignments. -Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level engineers. -Ensure work is completed within the agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision. -Rigorously coordinate design reviews and ensure all designs meticulously adhere to client standards. -Collect and analyze fundamental engineering data using established, well-defined procedures. -Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and documentation with utmost precision and attention to detail. -Independently handle the tasks required to complete key design elements for engineering projects. -Oversee and manage all phases of the highway project from initial design conception through final construction, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What You Bring

-PE in New York State or ability to obtain within 12 months. -Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. -Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel) -Significant experience using engineering design, modeling, and drafting software (Bentley or AutoDesk) -Strong organizational skills -BS in Civil Engineering plus six years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
