Overview

Provide on-site coaching and technical support to poling teams ensuring safety and quality.

Tasks

-Support the completion of allocated work on time and to the required quality and safety standards. -Complete competency sign off new recruits recently released from the training school. -Participate in operational review meetings, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement. -Identify areas for individual and team development, delivering targeted coaching and training as required. -Deliver infield coaching and support to poling teams, focusing on technical excellence, safety, and operational efficiency. -Ensure all poling activities comply with Highways Authority “Red Book” standards and company policies. -Promote cost-effective working practices and seek opportunities to maximise operational efficiency. -Conduct structured field visits to observe, mentor, and assess poling operatives.

What You Bring

-Have a strong background in the Poling industry, ideally within the Asset Assurance programme. -Have experience in a similar coaching or technical support position within telecommunications. -Hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points, no bans within the last 12 months). -Demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills. -Have a legal right to work in the UK.
