The Role
Overview
Design and support building automation systems, including documentation and sales assistance.

Tasks
-Final documentation of the building automation system that incorporates all changes made since issuance of the submittal. -Design of complete building automation systems including the specification and sizing of controllers, electromechanical devices, sensors, networks, and computer hardware. -Identification and communication of project opportunities and risks related to cost, time, and technical considerations. -Documentation of the BAS design (i.e. submittals) and revision control of the resultant documents. -Technical support during the selling process to ensure that sales representatives accurately address customer requirements and propose the best possible solutions.

What You Bring
-3.0 or higher GPA -Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs -Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred -Adherence to project requirements and company and customer standards in all aspects of design, programming, and implementation. -Must be a US Citizen or able to work in the US without sponsorship -Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by our company’s insurance carrier -Basic understanding of control logic -Knowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control preferred -Adherence to safety standards. High regard for employee and subcontractor safety. -Adherence to ethics standards. Exemplifies the Carrier code of ethics. -Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Building Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science
