Construction Project Manager – Intelligent Transportation Infrastructure

Manage transportation construction projects, overseeing safety, cost, schedule, and documentation.

Tasks

-Subcontract committed costs tracking -Financial monitoring and reporting including cost monitoring, cost and revenue projections, change order logs, under/overbilling reports, invoicing, vendor and subcontractor invoicing review and approval -Partner with safety to ensure safety programs are established and executed -Keep change order log up to date -Interaction with project team, business leaders, and management -Maintain cost accounting, schedule impacts, fully authorized change order logs, and communication logs -Work with project superintendents to identity applicable equipment types, personnel skill sets, means, methods, and schedule as required -Estimating review to understand strategies, risks, and opportunities -Submit monthly cost to complete projections -Pre-construction planning with project team -Review and procure any permits or licensing required -Manage and update receiving and yield reports -Building relationships in local marketplaces

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management, or related field preferred) -Detail oriented and good organization skills -Thorough understanding of CPM scheduling -Project documentation including submittals, RFI’s, meeting minutes, work plans -Weekly quantities reported and complied in ViewPoint -Ability to communicate well with others, both written and orally -Proficient in Computer applications such as Microsoft and time reporting systems -Functional knowledge of job cost accounting -A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree -Previous experience with Procore, Build2Win, and/or P6 a plus -Ability to read and understand of contracts -5+ years of experience working on transportation projects -Strong analytical skills -At least 5 years industry experience, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
