The Role

Overview

Support Ontario sales team by managing tenders, RFQs, customer relations, and opportunity tracking.

Tasks

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Operations, the Sales Support Representative will support the Ontario Region account management team by coordinating customer tenders, including the creation and management of opportunities. in our SRM tool, coordinating the review of the customer's terms & conditions with our legal department and our Insurer, to help the customer resolve order execution problems, etc.) and interacting in a sustained manner with the customer and the factories concerned -Coordinate RFQs and bids with Business Lines to ensure timely and accurate submissions. -Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal sales teams. -Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, including requests for information, quotations, and order updates. -Proactively manage customer satisfaction and resolve issues. -Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. -Identify high-potential leads and escalate them to Sales Directors. -Contribute to the development of tools and processes that enhance operational efficiency. -Support the promotion and sale of products and services to meet regional sales objectives. -Provide market feedback on pricing and competitor activity. -Participate in industrial sales meetings and initiatives.

What You Bring

-Proficient in working independently and meeting tight deadlines. -Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) is an asset. -Strong communication skills in English; French is an asset. -Project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. -2–5 years of customer service experience. -Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. -Technical degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (preferred). -Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building skills.
