Supports Origination team to research prospects, develop proposals and manage CRM for clean energy projects.

Tasks

-Prepare and ensure timely delivery of high quality proposals in response to requests for proposals (“RFPs”) from utilities, co-ops, municipal utilities, commercial and industrial customers, universities, etc. -Coordinate with Development, Finance, Engineering and other departments in order to prepare for proposals and meetings with customers. -Ensure RFP summaries, proposal and pricing information are entered into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. -Perform energy market research and analysis. -Prepare RFP summaries for distribution to management. -Prepare and distribute pricing history summaries before pricing meetings. -Read and summarize utility Integrated Resource Plans. -Maintain comprehensive records of submitted proposals and pricing models. -Design and create outreach strategy for all products and technologies under development, including key customer messaging -Research and identify new origination prospects

What You Bring

-Business development, origination, or sales experience is a plus -Demonstrated ability to perform under significant time and pressure conditions -Outstanding problem solving, strategic thinking, verbal and written communication skills -Fluency in French (written and oral) is highly beneficial -Bachelor’s Degree -Knowledge of wind, solar, natural gas, and energy storage power systems -Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future -2+ years of professional experience -Knowledge of the electric utility industry and electric energy markets -Ability to work self-sufficiently and as a team member -Track record of success in a development or sales capacity in the clean energy sector -Strong organizational, networking, leadership and time management skills -Ability to travel to Invenergy's Toronto office to support Canadian market activities -Educational concentration in business, economics, or engineering -Ability to make decisions with limited information and in light of ambiguity
