Tasks

-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, and DevOps) to deliver seamless, user-focused features. -Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). -Define and track key engineering metrics (e.g., system uptime, latency, code quality) to drive improvements across services. -Identify and address technical debt, scalability challenges, and opportunities for cost optimization in cloud environments. -Drive architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices for performance, maintainability, and security. -Maintain technical documentation and architectural diagrams for knowledge sharing and team onboarding. -Champion observability and monitoring practices using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog to ensure system reliability and proactively address bottlenecks. -Advocate for secure coding practices and ensure applications adhere to OWASP standards and data protection policies.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, and alerting systems to maintain production-grade applications. -Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). -Bonus : Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure costs and implementing robust security practices. -Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript; strong hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, and building RESTful APIs. -Proven ability to design and scale systems handling high traffic, ensuring fault tolerance and high availability. -Own end-to-end delivery of critical projects from planning and technical design to deployment and monitoring. -Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and performance optimization techniques. -Deep understanding of microservices architectures, event-driven systems, and distributed computing principles. -Track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical discussions in Agile teams. -3-8 years of experience in full stack web development, with proven expertise in the MERN stack. -Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.
