  • Use equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.
  • Operate equipment to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth, width and grade.
  • Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics”.
  • Operators will observe load hookup and determine safety of load and inspect and report on crane and hoisting mechanism.
  • Will work in a cab and use pilot operated joystick controls, pedals, levers and buttons to lift, move, and position loads using hoisting attachments, such as hooks, slings, electromagnets, and buckets.
  • Precision positioning of equipment, lifting heavy machinery and components, as well as beams and lumber.
  • Performs loading and unloading of equipment and supplies.
  • Complete Company’s Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client / Site specific training.

  • Be able to work around existing underground utilities and tight areas.
  • Minimum of one (3) year of mechanical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience.
  • MUST have Verification of 6,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain an active status within the appropriate drug testing program.
  • Must always be careful and attentive so they can follow directions closely as they will communicate with team members both verbally and by signal instruction.
  • MUST have TWIC card.
  • MUST have a 20-hour high hazard facility training safety card
  • Understand shoring, soil classes and dewatering.
