Tasks

-Oversee survey aspects of civil engineering projects and/or directing preparation of all types of survey plans. -Assists with survey computations and data collection including construction layout calculations, grade sheet computation, topographical/volume analysis, and project data conversion/transformation. -Conducting plan research and review. -Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and as-built surveys. -Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain. -Perform fieldwork associated with land surveying.

What You Bring

-Experience with AutoCAD. -Must be able to work outdoors on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions. -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. -Must be detail oriented, organized, focused, self-motivated, possess good work ethic and be a team player. -Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone. -Knowledge of applicable laws, legal codes, and government regulation. -Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. -Knowledge of geological description principles and methods. -Must be able to work independently. -Minimum of 3 years of experience with heavy civil projects and structures. -Ability to travel will be required. -Valid Driver’s License required, and candidate must pass be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report background check. -Experience must show current proficiency operating a robotic tool station, GPS, and level.
