The Role
Overview
Lead construction projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

Tasks
-Maintains certifications necessary to perform duties. These certifications and requirements are defined by the project but include at minimum AB License, and completion of Lead awareness class. -Ensures the crew works safely, following all local, state, and federal laws and regulations and codes pertaining to the scope of work. -Identifies and ensures the appropriate crew is assigned to the project. -Completes a daily report. -Performs quality control duties for the work being performed. -Finds adequate labor to properly execute assigned projects. -Communicates project logistics. -Ensures the job site work area is always kept in a clean, organized, and safe manner. -Is an active participant in every project turnover meeting. -Provides day-to-day supervision of assigned staff, assists in the resolution of personnel issues, and handles corrective action and termination of crew members, in accordance with company policies and legal regulations. -Ensures the crew meets daily productivity goals. -Leads a pre-task plan and daily huddle with the crew to proactively communicate and identify potential issues concerning safety, quality, and time impacts. -Ensures equipment assigned to the project is in good working order, performing inspections as needed. -Sets project production goals for Foreman and crew on each job. -Attends regular progress meetings and speaks on behalf of the company in a professional manner; serves as an effective liaison with the client, laborers, contractors, project team and other stakeholders. -Positively impacts their projects every day by driving safety, quality and production. -Keeps regular accounting of company assets on projects. -Assists the Project Manager and Estimating department regarding cost to complete estimates for project invoicing. -Actively manages man-hours on each project and adjusts labor as needed. -Conducts pre-job walks with Foreman on every project. -Terminates underperforming employees. -Approves time weekly, reviews and monitors daily. -Follows up and follows through with Customers, Estimators, and Project Managers on deliverables. -Reviews timesheets for accuracy and reports to payroll before 9:00 am every Monday. -Orders the correct material approved for the project. -Communicates cost to complete on each project. -Identifies conflicts related to construction progress and communicates them to the project team and client to ensure timely resolution. -Questions deviations from plans with customer and communicates to Project Managers and Estimators. -Identifies and corrects quality issues before they become punch list items. -Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and facilitating on-the-job training for new crew members, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What You Bring
-Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Has the ability to find and secure labor to adequately staff projects. -Able to pass Respirator fit test. -Ability to identify and meet customers’ expectations and requirements. -Strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. -Attention to detail with a focus on error prevention. -At least five (5) years of experience leading construction crews OR an equivalent combination of training, education and relevant work experience. -Knowledge of proper construction techniques. -Has the ability to read contract drawings, specifications, and submittals. -Able to see, talk and hear in person, via phone and/or through online/video. -Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements in a positive and constructive manner. -Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective and professional relationships with customers, vendors, managers, colleagues, and crew members. -Has strong technical knowledge of install process and products we use on what systems. -Supervisory experience -Leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. -Associate or Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field. -Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures. -Responsive to phone calls and other communications concerning assigned projects; and shares relevant information to the project team, client, leadership, and other stakeholders in an effective and timely manner. -Able to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, squat and climb. -Able to use hands and fingers in a manner that allows for use of a keyboard and -Valid driver’s license. -Can manage up to $35M in total project revenue. -Must be able to travel daily to the jobsite as assigned. -Excellent organizational and time management skills. -Knowledge of rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources. -Able to work with specialized construction equipment, tools, and materials. -Able to frequently travel to job sites and meetings. -Must be a proactive self-starter, problem solver, and effective team player. -Has the ability to identify change orders. -Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary -Able to lift & carry items up to 15 lbs. -Working knowledge and ability to enter containments safely. -Able to wear required personal protective equipment. -Strong communicator with our Foreman, Estimators, Project Managers, and Customers. -Bilingual (English, Spanish) -Proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
