Project Engineer

Overview

Assist project managers with electrical preconstruction and construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, safety standards and contracts and report all variances to the Project Manager. -Assists Project Managers and Project Team assigned with all aspects of project coordination and activities in accordance with project goals, budget, quality control and company objectives. -Supports document and procurement activities and efforts, but not limited to, commodity materials, consumables, material releases/expediting and necessary tools and equipment. -Prepares timely, accurate and complete project documentation, including but not limited to, RFI's submittals, schedule updates, time records, supplemental work orders, change order pricing, and general project correspondence. -Provides field supervision support for job site requirements when needed assigned.

-Understands project plans, drawing specifications and schedule as well as the resources necessary to complete the project on time and within budget. -Computer Proficiency on MS Word, MS Excel, Accubid, Document Control Software -Excellent Oral & Verbal Communication Skills -High School Diploma or Equivalent -Engineering Degree with 3+ years Electrical Industry Project Experience preferred -Electrical Industry Project experience
