Tasks

-Enforce safe field operations -Provides technical guidance to other staff members -Leads project, inspection teams and coordinates teams and equipment -Travel to required project location(s) -Prepare in-office support for field inspections, such as development of inspection documentation forms prior to field work -Perform field inspection duties and subsequent inspection reports in compliance with Client Requirements

What You Bring

-Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills -Driver's License -At least 3 years of recent bridge experience in inspection as a Team Leader -Current FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training) and/or Refresher Course -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Physically capable of performing tasks associated with the position. Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and various aerial lifts and access equipment -Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY and NJ agencies -Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering -OSHA 30 -Active New York and New Jersey PE License required
