The Role

Overview

Manage technical aspects of water infrastructure capital projects from planning to delivery.

Tasks

-Perform quality control on all aspects of the work, including budget and schedule, and report on project status. -Assign responsibilities and support the project team. -Monitor compliance with all applicable codes, practices, and performance standards. -Liaise with stakeholders to gain approvals and facilitate projects. -Interact daily with clients to understand their needs and represent them in the field. -Prepare, schedule, and coordinate assigned engineering projects. -Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions where needed.

What You Bring

-A valid UK driving licence. -Additionally, as part of the employment offer, you will need to pass background, identity, and employment referencing checks. -Proven working experience as a Project Engineer. -Experience in a water distribution or similar industrial background. -It is necessary for you to have the legal right to work in the UK when you begin employment with South East Water. -Excellent communication and time management skills. -A strong understanding of CDM 2015 and how it's applied to projects. -A degree, HNC, or HND in an engineering discipline.
