Tasks

-Manage and deliver statutory planning projects, development applications and due diligence assessments -Supervise and mentor junior and student planners -Lead site assessments and contribute to strategic planning advice -Engage with local and state government agencies, clients and sub-consultants -Provide high-quality planning advice to clients across a range of sectors -Support business development through client relationships and repeat work

What You Bring

-Minimum 6 years’ experience in statutory or strategic planning, ideally in private consultancy -PIA membership or eligibility (preferred) -Current driver’s licence -Proven track record preparing and assessing planning applications of varying complexity -Bachelor’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning (or equivalent recognised by PIA) -Strong report writing and communication skills -Professional memberships -Sound knowledge of Queensland planning legislation and development processes
