Tasks

✔ Emergency Preparedness – Develop and implement emergency response plans for landscape project sites. ✔ Safety Audits & Inspections – Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with project-specific safety requirements. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations specific to landscape construction projects. ✔ Site Safety Management – Oversee safety protocols on landscape construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards. ✔ Risk Assessment – Identify and mitigate potential hazards related to excavation, irrigation, paving, planting, and other landscape activities. ✔ Training & Awareness – Conduct safety training programs tailored to landscape construction workers and subcontractors. ✔ Incident Investigation – Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. ✔ Compliance – Ensure adherence to local and international safety standards, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and environmental regulations.

What You Bring

✅ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 📌 Experience: 3–7 years in safety engineering with a focus on landscape construction projects. 📌 Certifications: NEBOSH, OSHA, CSP, or equivalent safety certifications preferred. ✅ Strong knowledge of landscape construction safety protocols, including excavation, irrigation, and heavy equipment operations. ✅ Attention to detail and proactive approach to safety management. 📌 Education: Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field. ✅ Familiarity with OSHA, ISO 45001, and environmental safety standards. ✅ Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency response planning.
