The Role

Overview

Operate cranes, perform MIG welding, and maintain equipment per blueprints.

Tasks

-Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job tasks. -Layout, position, align, and fit components into the welding fixture as instructed. -Set upthe gas shield, MIG-weld, and weld parts to job specifications. -Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment. -Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental procedures, policies, and practices.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 1 year’s experience. -Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and welding symbols to complete job assignments. -Demonstrated skill level in wire feed (MIG) welding. -Ability to read and understand work order routings and instructions. -Ability to read tape measures and blueprints. -Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills. -Ability to lay out parts using weld fixtures.
