Overview

QC Scientist I performs bench testing, sample prep, and analytical support for pharma product development.

Tasks

-Perform assigned analytical tasks in support of product development, registration lot release, and pre and post regulatory submission activities. -Accurately document analytical activities and results in a timely manner, maintaining data integrity. -Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices diligently. -Support troubleshooting activities as needed. -Ensure activities are completed within assigned timelines and in compliance with cGXP's and company practices.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in dilutions, sample preparation, biochemistry, quality control, and chemistry. -Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. -Adhere to written analytical procedures and identify execution challenges of analytical methods. -Good written and verbal communication skills. -Prior lab experience, which can be from academic settings or industry. -Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency. -Bachelor's degree in a science field (preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry, but Biology, Microbiology, or Pharmaceutical Science with strong chemistry lab experience is acceptable). -Experience in lab environments outside of academia is strongly preferred.
