Tasks

-Interpret regulatory requirements to guide service and performance risk. -Ensure the programme meets regulatory and government expectations across engineering, cost, environment, and water safety. -Coordinate the implementation of Yorkshire Water’s options development framework to support strategic water planning. -Represent asset strategies and environmental obligations in business cases. -Monitor and control expenditure in partnership with finance teams. -Maintain strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders. -Identify and escalate risks, issues, and opportunities within the programme. -Manage priority projects effectively and deliver results. -Manage a pipeline of opportunities and support commercial development. -Shape long-term investment plans to meet performance and customer outcomes. -Align and integrate planning frameworks across business functions. -Contribute to team performance by linking individual goals to wider objectives. -Ensure financial and commercial decisions align with company strategy. -Lead the review and update of the Water Supply Systems Strategy.

We offer a range of adjustments to make your application experience as comfortable and straightforward as possible. -Proven experience in data compilation, analysis, interpretation, and communication. -Track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging targets. -Demonstrated project management experience. -Strong understanding of water supply systems and water resources planning. -Solid grasp of UK water policy, regulation, and legislation. -Full UK driving licence. -Technical knowledge of water distribution networks. -Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography). -Proficient in IT systems, with experience analysing complex datasets. -Ability to manage conflicting priorities and balance stakeholder needs effectively.
