Oversee operation & maintenance of gas transmission pipelines and facilities.

Tasks
-Oversee the operation and maintenance of Gas Transmission Infrastructure. -Control and monitor third-parties earthwork activities in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to prevent damages to the pipeline. -Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures. -Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders. -Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operation readiness. -Monitor expenditures within approved budget. -Plan, organize and execute commissioning / decommissioning of pipelines and facilities. -Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Gas Transmission Infrastructure. -Establish and review documentation and filing system. -Ensure the adequate stocking of spares, and initiate purchase when required, for routine maintenance and emergencies. -Perform Standby Duties after office hours. -You will work on projects that impact the quality of life for our customers. -Conduct / participate in emergency exercises. -Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices. -Plan and implement maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Gas Transmission Pipeline and its associated facilities. -Supervise all Technical Officers and Technicians of the section. -Plan and implement patrolling programs for the Gas Transmission Pipeline. -Plan and provide budget for the Section.

What You Bring
-Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from university recognized by PE Board Singapore. -Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous. -Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous. -Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
