Design and develop machines/cells using SolidWorks for automotive, military, aerospace projects.

Tasks
-Review sales drawings and design equipment/cells from scratch using Solidworks. -Provide recommendations for the purchase of motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics. -Monitor and review the progress of design builds on the floor and offer necessary feedback. -Answer builders' questions related to designs and make adjustments based on team feedback. -Support sales inquiries related to potential customer solutions, focusing on mechanical aspects. -Utilize templates and spreadsheets for engineering calculations such as horsepower, torque, and heat transfer.

What You Bring
-Experience with robotic programming, set-up, and debugging -Familiarity with Fanuc Integration and RoboGuide -Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field -Proficiency in Solidworks -5+ years of experience in a Machine Designer role -Understanding of engineering calculations, including thermodynamics, air handling, and heat transfer
