The Role

Overview

Drive NPI releases, validating and integrating new modular home products across engineering, construction, and supply chain teams.

Tasks

-Partner with Marketing to ensure clear communication of product changes, align messaging, and support product launches. -Ensure alignment with Construction for work instructions, training, safety, and site performance metrics. -Document and communicate field lessons learned for integration into next release cycles. -Collaborate with Real Estate & Legal to review impact on permits, zoning, contracts, and legal compliance. -Validate product installations and collect field data to improve installation sequencing and quality. -Develop and manage comprehensive Release Notes to communicate key product and process changes across various departments: -Drive the creation and implementation of detailed product documentation including BOM, work instructions, and part hierarchy definitions. -Support coordination of building & installation process updates including typical details, tooling, and cycle time assessment. -Work with the Quality team to ensure product quality and process changes are integrated into work instructions, training, and KPI assessments. -Facilitate discussions on new, obsolete, and modified parts, material flow, sourcing, inventory management, and PLM integration with Supply Chain. -Serve as the point of contact between site leadership and engineering during NPI builds. -Support and lead cross-functional release meetings with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Fab, Construction, Real Estate & Legal, Quality, and Marketing. -Construction field coordination (RFI management, build validations)

What You Bring

-Experience interpreting and validating design intent from Revit/SolidWorks or equivalent 3D systems -Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and cross-functional team collaboration. -Experience in site commissioning, installation validation, or prefab/modular housing. -Familiarity with Procore or field-oriented systems (even though Monday and ACC are primary at Veev) -3+ years of experience in the construction or modular housing industry or related engineering fields within a manufacturing or product development environment. -Ability to create and maintain detailed schedules and release notes. -Proficiency in typical details, supply chain logistics, and driving product lifecycle management from prototype to production. -Site documentation and as-built validation (root cause analysis) -Understanding of modular or panelized construction assembly. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and present technical documents and updates for cross-functional teams. -Experience coordinating between engineering and construction field teams. -Experience working in a manufacturing setting, particularly in a start-up or high-growth environment. -Experience with process optimization, tooling, and design for manufacturability. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. -Knowledge of pre-fabricated housing and assembly processes, including lean construction and takt-based production. -Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
