Create and coordinate electrical shop drawings using Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks.

Tasks

-Attend project meetings and provide information about the status of requested designs. -Modify and revise designs to correct inefficiencies or to reduce production problems -Create prefabrication drawings. -Produce mark-up drawings for layout purposes using Bluebeam. -Coordinate and consult with other team members to design or layout detailed components and to resolve design or other problems. -Work from drawings, sketches, scanned images, customer drawings, or government drawings or specifications. -May be requested to work overtime, nights, and weekends. -Work with REVIT, Bluebeam, and Navisworks to create, modify, and release drawings. -Self-check your own work for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards. -Create an accurate, coordinated, and information-rich model for visualization and data management on all projects. -Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related information.

What You Bring

As our workload continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Revit Designer/BIM Detailer to join our team in Houston. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for producing Electrical shop drawings using thorough knowledge of Computer-aided drafting (CAD/BIM/Revit) system standards, practices and techniques. We are looking for a self-starting, detailed orientated, organized designer/detailer who is a team player with good communication skills. -Degree in Computer Aided Drafting Technology is a plus! -Ability to understand architectural and structural drawings. -Superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task; employee will be expected to work on simultaneous, fast-paced projects with critical deadlines. -Minimum of 2 years of experience with REVIT, Bluebeam and Navisworks. -High School Diploma or GED. -Requires the ability to report to job sites or offices throughout Texas. -Experience as a commercial electrician is a plus! -Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products (Bluebeam, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
