Tasks

The Director will be accountable for in‐depth financial analysis and research; the preparation of all underwriting and financial models in order to evaluate each lead against established criteria, execution of all due diligence activities, and support the structure of debt and equity for acquisitions, dispositions and refinancing activity. The Director will guide and coach each member of the investment team to ensure continued career development. -Ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge, training, experience, tools and technology needed to achieve the required business results; -Lead all financial analysis, research, underwriting, due diligence, negotiations and structuring for all deals and transaction activity; -Prepare high‐quality financing presentations and confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and participate in delivering lending presentations; -Present on a weekly and monthly basis investment opportunities, debt restructuring initiatives, and asset performance to executive management; -Review monthly reporting packages for properties within the asset portfolio, to ensure these are complete, accurate, and reflect appropriate commentary on results; -Coordinate activities with all relevant stakeholders and third-party consultants related to acquisitions, dispositions, and financing; -Foster a work environment that values people and encourages participation, creativity, learning and accountability; -Conduct on‐site property-level diligence with third-party companies;

What You Bring

The successful candidate will possess a University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; a minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate investments with strong knowledge of all processes related to acquisition real estate assets or mortgage refinance; superior technical and communications skills with the ability to excel in a fast paced, deadline driven environment without compromising on accuracy; ability to effectively evaluate, summarize and rationalize large amounts of information while maintaining a high degree of organization, accuracy, and quality; strong. Professional designation such as CFA, CPA, AACI or graduate studies (MBA) are considered assets.
