Overview

Lead engineer for commissioning, troubleshooting & resolution of control & rotating equipment.

Tasks

-Manage and assist in troubleshooting issues of various products like heavy-duty gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, electric motors, gearboxes and auxiliaries’ systems. -Being the Technical reference point for Field and Project engineers supporting them in promptly resolving technical issues reported from Project sites. -Preparing and reviewing of technical documentation such as trip investigation reports, Root Cause Analysis, defining Corrective & Preventive action plan and be able to communicate effectively to a broader team. -Collaborate with various internal Engineering disciplines as required and shall be the focal point to lead and manage issue resolutions effectively. -Managing Non-Conformities and technical issues resolution with sense of ownership and Accountability.

What You Bring

-Have experience in interpreting Engineering & Technical documents like Process & instrument diagrams (P&ID), Wiring diagrams etc.. -Good understanding of Project engineering roles and responsibilities such as document management, non-conformity management, FMEA preparation and execution. -Have knowledge of Baker Hughes Heavy-duty Gas Turbines or Centrifugal compressors operation. -Ability to work across multi-functional and global teams. -Have a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical or equivalent Engineering degree from an accredited college or university. -Ability to interpret the Control logics and troubleshoot Operational issues of the Systems. -Adapt to various Commissioning team internal Processes with respect to Design Reviews, Quality and Safety procedures meeting the defined KPIs. -Have fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills. -Have ability to influence others and lead small teams. -Have minimum 7 years of Technical experience on Control systems and Rotating machinery working at Project sites. -Flexibility to travel to different sites. -Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage proactively on his/her own initiative -Operational Knowledge of Heavy-duty Gas Turbines, Centrifugal compressors, and their relevant auxiliary systems. -Passionate and enthusiastic to work in fast paced, challenging and dynamic environment -Mange Engineering Lessons Learnt collection /sharing across different projects. -Requires knowledge and hand-on experience on Control Systems like MarkVIe, MarkVIeS SIL System, Proficy Machine Edition, PLCs, DCS etc..
