Provides admin and governance support to LMCM Board of Directors.

Tasks

-Maintain confidential files and sensitive board information. -Serve as the primary point of contact for board members regarding administrative needs and meeting logistics. -Maintain and update the official records of the Board, including bylaws, policies, resolutions, meeting minutes, and rosters. -Provide administrative support for board recruitment, nominations, and succession planning. -Assist the Executive Director and Board Chair with strategic planning and documentation. -Support board engagement by maintaining updated contact information, bios, and service records of all directors. -Coordinate special events, board retreats, and training sessions. -Coordinate and schedule board and committee meetings in collaboration with the Board Chair and Executive Director. -Track follow-up items, board tasks, and committee assignments to ensure timely completion. -Attend all board and committee meetings; record and prepare accurate minutes, documenting actions and decisions. -Supports the LMCM Mission by making disciples of Jesus Christ through community. -Ensure compliance with nonprofit governance requirements, including filings, disclosures, and organizational documents. -Provide reminders and updates to ensure board members are prepared and informed. -Assist with board member onboarding, training, and orientation processes. -Support the development of board calendars, annual plans, and governance cycles. -Attends and actively participates in The Church at Lake Mead. -Prepare and distribute agendas, board packets, reports, and supporting materials in advance of meetings. -Help track and report on board participation, giving, and compliance with policies. -Facilitate clear and timely communication between board members, leadership, and ministry branches.

-Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and board management software (preferred). -Strong personal commitment to the mission and values of Lake Mead Christian Ministries. -Collaboration: Works well with diverse stakeholders across ministry branches. -Agrees with and actively supports the LMCM Statement of Faith. -Adaptability: Flexible in meeting dynamic ministry and board needs. -Demonstrates spiritual flourishing through personal disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and outreach to others. -Strong written and verbal communication abilities. -Previous experience in nonprofit administration, governance support, or executive assistance preferred. -Attention to Detail: Produces thorough, accurate, and timely work. -Shows evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in interactions with people. -Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. -Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and board members.
