Overview

Graduate MEP Engineer supporting water/wastewater design‑build projects.

Tasks

-You will help support the delivery of design and build construction projects predominantly within the Water and Wastewater sectors. -Reviewing constructability of drawings and designs of Suppliers -Though largely ‘onsite’ supporting the site Project Team in coordinating multiple aspects of projects you will spend time office based with project management, design and commercial colleagues -Overseeing the activities of M&E Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on the Site -Liaising with our clients and supply chain and involved in direct management of our projects through our Mechanical & Electrical suppliers -Assist with maintaining our safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.

What You Bring

-Valid driving licence -Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. -Graduate with a degree Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Process Engineering, or related field. -An ability to develop understanding of civil engineering principles and practices that are impacted by M&E. Have excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

-In the mid‑1970s it expanded into general building, then turned to pipelines and pumping stations in the 1980s. -By the 1990s its civil‑engineering focus deepened, culminating in the 1999 launch of a major JV partnership. -Typical projects span water infrastructure, hydroelectric power, industrial buildings, highways and coastal works. -Clients include major water companies, Environment Agency, Canal & River Trust, Rolls‑Royce, P&G and Associated British Ports. -The 2013 merger with JBA Consulting formed a new entity offering integrated low‑carbon environmental solutions.
