Tasks

-Prepare Detailed written reports detailing findings, observations and test results. -Soils Technician duties include testing of compacted in-place soils with a nuclear density gauge and geotechnical construction observations. -Perform daily testing and observations of various construction projects throughout MA and RI to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements. -Reading and interpreting construction Drawings and specifications. -Hot Mix Asphalt Technician duties include testing of asphalt pavement being placed for compaction utilizing a nuclear density gauge, recording lift thickness and monitoring delivery and placement temperatures. -Masonry (Grout/Mortar) Technician duties include documenting batch information, documenting temperatures, and fabrication of test cubes, cylinders, or prisms. -Implementation of ATLAS Think 12 Safety Philosophy and follow our Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures. -Concrete Technician duties include testing of concrete for Slump, Air Content, Unit Weight, Temperature and fabrication of test cylinders and beams in accordance with ASTM standards.

What You Bring

-Ability to travel, to various Project Sites throughout MA & RI daily. -Experience in the field of CMT preferred but not required, willing to train entry level candidates. -Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training -Ability to clearly provide and receive detailed information through oral and written communication. -Must have a valid Driver's License. -Must successfully complete background and motor vehicle record check. -Preference will be given to candidates who are actively registered with one (1) or more of the following technical credentials. Credentials are not required for Entry Level Candidates. -ACI Grade 1 - Concrete Field Testing Technician -OSHA 10 Hour Safety Training -Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule which could include night and weekend work. -Must be capable to document, prepare and submit testing data and observation data, and time and expense data using a smart phone, tablet, or computer. -Must be able to follow Construction Site Safety rules and practices. -Must be able and willing to work some weekends and overtime. -Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds -NETTCP Certifications - Field and/or Laboratory Certified in Soils, Concrete or Hot Mix Asphalt
