The Role
Overview
Lead engineering & maintenance across multiple hotel properties.

Tasks
-List and track status of major capital expenditures related to property infrastructure. -Ensure compliance with all local and national codes, regulations, and hotel policies related to health, safety, and environmental standards. -Ensure proper staffing and training to maintain a high level of technical performance. -Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment warranties, and inspection reports. -Ensure the maintenance of hotel facilities to meet safety, cleanliness, and comfort standards. -Lead, manage, and develop engineering teams at each hotel property. -Track and control expenses related to repairs, replacement, and maintenance projects. -Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. -Oversee daily maintenance operations at all properties, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety, and general upkeep. -Assist in developing and managing annual maintenance budgets for each property, ensuring that spending aligns with financial goals and priorities. -Manage vendor relationships for outsourced maintenance or specialist services. -Act as the lead point of contact during emergency maintenance or repairs. -Be available for on-call support to respond to urgent needs at any of the properties. -Oversee property level renovation or repair projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. -Implement standard operating procedures to ensure team efficiency and consistency across all locations. -Provide regular reports to hotel management on the condition of properties, maintenance issues, and improvement plans. -Conduct regular inspections of all properties to identify areas for improvement and prevent potential issues. -Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions during work or renovations.

What You Bring
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. -5+ years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. -Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and safety regulations. -Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. -Proven experience managing multiple properties or locations. -Ability to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and projects. -Availability for on-call or emergency situations, with a flexible schedule.
