Overview

Manage and maintain renewable energy sites, overseeing technicians and electrical systems.

Tasks

-Replace faulty components and support installations -Respond to emergency maintenance requests -Manage site spares, consumables, and subcontractors -Maintain and inspect electrical/mechanical systems -Lead site operations with a focus on safety, budget, and performance -Supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring WHSE compliance -Mentor junior technicians and collaborate across teams -Coordinate with clients and stakeholders, managing permits and documentation -Ensure all equipment and PPE are fit for purpose -Travel between sites and head office as required -Prepare reports, attend client meetings, and maintain site documentation -Ensure safety compliance and accurate record-keeping -Deliver service scopes and support project teams with site investigations -Promote a safety-first culture and lead WHSEQ initiatives

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of power electronics, HV/LV systems, and renewable technologies (BESS, solar, inverters) -HV experience and inverter training (desirable) -Electrical Licence (preferred) -Experience with inverters, VFDs, BESS, solar, or HV/LV systems (desirable) -Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook -Electrical qualification (Diploma/Degree preferred) -Diagnose and resolve technical issues -Driver’s Licence, LVR/CPR, First Aid -Safety management and electrical risk expertise -Proficiency with maintenance software -LVR/CPR and First Aid certificates -Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair -Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot systems -Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills -Experience as a Site Manager or in O&M for utility-scale renewables (2+ years preferred) -Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills -Working at Heights (desirable) -NSW Electrical Licence -Working at Heights & HV qualification (desirable) -High Risk Work Licences (e.g., boom lift, forklift)
