Tasks

-Support the branch team with sales, customer service and administration when required. -Communicate effectively and facilitate good working relationships with drivers, suppliers, and customers. -Manage and schedule deliveries, planning efficient routes, ensuring timely and efficient service. -Lead day to day transport operations and administration. -Responsible for driver compliance: checking tachograph cards, defect checks, PMI, vehicle service bookings etc.

What You Bring

-Logistics and transport planning experience with awareness of Transport Legislation. -Previous experience within the builders merchants or construction supply industry (desirable). -Ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing environment. -Strong IT skills and regional geographic knowledge.
