Accounts Payable Manager

Tasks

-Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, managing, leading, and mentoring the A/P team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency; -Actively participate in daily operational tasks alongside managing the team, demonstrating willingness to engage in the 'hands-on' work necessary for the team's success; -Oversee the preparation and analysis of A/P reports, providing insights into cash flow management and expenditure trends; -Lead vendor onboarding and relations, purchase order/invoice processing, and payment disbursements; -Support annual financial statement audit requests, and lead FOrm-1099 reporting; -Expensify employee expense tracking and approval, integrated with Intacct; -Ensure billing terms and conditions, vendor/purchase order/invoice records align with contractual agreements; -Prepare ad hoc analyses and perform other duties as required or assigned. -Tying out AP agings and subledgers to the general ledger; -Actively research and pursue system upgrades and integrations with AP systems and other company systems; -Assist in the implementation of a Purchase Order system and integration with invoice processing and accounting ERP; -]Ensure effective implementation of the invoice approval policy and process in coordination with department leads; -FloQast controls management. -Collaborate with other departments to improve the A/P process, implement best practices, and integrate new software as needed; -Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accrual entries in a multi-entity, multi-currency setting through the project lifecycle; -Administer employee expense reimbursements;

What You Bring

-Experience with automated bank payment systems and banking implementations; -Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; -Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and a commitment to process improvement; -7-10 years experience in accounts payable management, preferably within the renewable energy sector or similar complex environments (real estate or other project finance settings); -Familiarity with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting practices, including inter-entity billing; -Sage Intacct with multi-entity consolidation and multi-currency; -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred, but not required; -Experience with Sage Intacct and Stampli preferred; -Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team; -Strong understanding of accounting principles and complex coding systems; -Stampli invoice approval workflow, integrated with Intacct; -Experience implementing or managing procurement/supply chain management systems. -Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written;
