Tasks

-Contribute to pricing strategy discussions and managing travel/conference budgets. -Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their objectives, priorities, and requirements. -Ensure the capture process is managed effectively, including managing capture plans, and that all efforts comply with relevant regulations and corporate policies and processes. -Coordinate with and lead teams across Business Units, including technical experts, operations, business development, and proposal writers on aerospace pursuits. -Conduct market research, identify customer needs, and analyze the competitive landscape to identify winning strategies. -Identify, recruit, and manage teaming partners and suppliers to increase the win probability and bolster the company's capabilities. -Present capture plans, status reports, and competitive assessments to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Capture and maintain opportunities in company CRM. -Lead the development of win themes, value propositions, technical solutions, and proposal messaging to differentiate the company's offerings. -Develop executive-level screenings that address risks and how Merrick will prepare and mitigate them. -Create and implement prioritized capture plans to meet the company’s aerospace business goals.

What You Bring

-Self-starter with sense of urgency aligned to time-sensitive objectives and commercial space sector. -Exceptional ability to lead, influence, and motivate a diverse, cross-functional team without direct authority. -Excellent communication skills to articulate strategy, coach teams, and interact with clients. -Deep understanding of the aerospace market with an emphasis on AE solutions, including planning, design, engineering, construction, and related advisory services. -Employment with Merrick is contingent upon completion of a pre-employment background check, MVR check, and drug screen. -Demonstrated commitment to the firm’s values of respect, integrity, service, and excellence. -Strong analytical and strategic skills to evaluate opportunities, assess risk, and position the company for success. -Established career of successful aerospace market development of 10+ years with 5+ years related to architecture and engineering (AE) industry opportunities. Proven track record of winning large, complex projects. -Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling value propositions. -Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. -Experience with CRM software (e.g., aec360) and other capture management tools.
