Overview
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.

Tasks
-Conduct inspections and tests on machinery and equipment to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions proactively -Install, configure, and calibrate automation systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, actuators, and other control devices -Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other record-keeping tools -Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, utilizing knowledge of automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic principles -Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability -Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance -Stay updated with advancements in automation technology, electrical systems, mechanical engineering, and hydraulic systems through ongoing training and professional development -Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems, electrical components, mechanical equipment, and hydraulic systems -Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout, arc flash safety, and other relevant safety measures, to ensure a safe working environment -Collaborate with production personnel and other maintenance team members to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently

What You Bring
-Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions -High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred -Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent training in maintenance millwrighting -Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. -Strong technical skills in automation systems, electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems -Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment -Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment -Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail -Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching -Adaptability to new technologies, equipment, and industry trends -Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust and dirt -Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout, arc flash safety, and other relevant safety measures
