Distribution Material Handler- Mid Shift

Handles order picking, packing, loading, and warehouse safety in a distribution center.

Tasks

-Develop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainings -Pick and pack to ensure all orders are pulled and packaged properly to be loaded -Ensure all orders are loaded properly on the correct trailer and all the paperwork is complete so the orders can ship -Sort and move product interdepartmentally while operating and using a variety of material handling equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, hand-helds, racks, etc. -Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and encourages team effort

Requirements

• forklift certified
• wms tech
• 1yr experience

-Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time -Ability to work on assigned tasks while portraying excellent teamwork mentality -High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience -Up to 1 year of safe working experience in warehouse/distribution environment -Hand-held WMS technology experience -Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds -Problem solving skills and innovative solutions -Ability to maintain positive moral within the workforce -Forklift certified -Dynamic self-motivation and ability to work a flexible schedule -Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principals of safety for self and others into daily activities
