Tasks

-Complete Electrical Engineering Design on Projects as part of an integrated project team. -Carrying out electrical building services design, working solo on smaller projects, or as part of a larger electrical team, under a Senior Engineer, on larger more complex projects. -Design and specification of Electrical Engineering Solutions to current regulations and design standards. -Provide off site technical support to construction teams on projects. -Working directly with clients and project engineers to lead technical solutions. -Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including, design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc. -Builds effective relationships;

What You Bring

-Experience in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office Suite Software, and also specialist electrical design software packages (e.g Amtech, Dialux) -Strong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical Engineering Services & Design -Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering -The ideal candidate will have minimum Level 8 qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent such as Energy or Building Services) -Membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland or CIBSE would be advantageous. -Experience of client, vendor & contractor interaction & management. -Excellent communication and organisational skills; -Proven relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment -A good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team. -Knowledge & experience of current Electrical Design standards -Excellent level of attention to detail. -Self-motivated and career focused.
