Overview
Design Engineer creating 3D models, drawings, and BOMs for retail display manufacturing.

Tasks
-Collaborate with production personnel to ensure accurate and correct assembly of products. -Dissect product sketches/renderings into individual parts to create detailed drawings. -Create 3D models utilizing Inventor. -Develop fabrication and assembly drawings for manufacturing personnel. -Generate BOMs (bill of materials) and update drawings from redlines or mark-ups. -Update and modify pre-existing drawings.

What You Bring
-Basic knowledge of cabinetry and/or millwork (framing) and metal work (sheet metal). -2-3 years of experience in 3D modeling (Inventor preferred, but open to Solidworks, Fusion360). -Process improvement experience. -Programming experience with BI, Python, iLogic. -Photo rendering skills in 3dsMAX, Inventor Studio. -Experience designing retail displays, fixtures, and furniture. -Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as UL, ETL, NSF, Bifma. -Bachelors in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering.
