Tasks

-Oversee day-to-day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety. -Plan and manage field investigations, including pre-design data collection and/or pilot testing data collection programs. -Lead all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management. -Coach, mentor, and support staff to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, technical reports, and deliverables. -Ensure projects are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives. -Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators and other stakeholders. -Collaborate closely with the project team, supporting field teams, providing oversight, and observing health and safety processes and procedures. -Lead project teams with the technical evaluation and interpretation of site characterization and geologic data, develop conceptual site models, and work with other multidisciplinary team members to assess the impact to project goals. -Plan all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.

What You Bring

-2+ years of related project management, financial management, or task management experience. -Design and construction experience with environmental remediation projects. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Working knowledge of California regulatory frameworks pertinent to the work. -Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field. -8+ years of related experience. -Demonstrated competency and understanding of soil, groundwater, sediment and air investigation and treatment approaches/technologies. -Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives. -Proficient computer literacy skills including use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) and the ability to learn various software needed to support financial management, diverse project needs, and client requirements. -Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen. -Hydrogeologic experience, including developing site conceptual models and assessment of fate and transport of contaminants. -Professional registration or certification, as applicable. -Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field. -OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates desirable.
