Tasks

This position focuses on supporting the tendering, estimating, and quoting process for commercial and retail construction projects. You’ll work behind the scenes preparing costings, reviewing plans, and following up on tenders, while occasionally assisting with shop-floor sales and client discussions. -Liaise with account managers and internal teams to meet client deadlines -Support front-of-house sales as needed to assist with product inquiries and orders -Compile and send accurate costings and documentation -Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and suppliers -Estimate quantities and materials for commercial projects -Read and interpret construction plans and specifications -Prepare and follow up on online tenders and quotes

What You Bring

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking a Customer Service person with a trade or construction background who’s ready to transition off the tools into a commercial office-based role. -Trade-qualified or experienced in the construction industry (e.g. painter, scaffolder, carpenter, builder) -Excellent written and verbal English comprehension -Current driver’s licence -Eager to learn and take advantage of optional Cert IV Trade Qualification training -Holds a valid Forklift Licence (LF) and experience operating a 1.5t forklift -Confident using computers and online tendering systems -Strong understanding of building materials, project timelines, and site processes
