The Role

Overview

Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing Merlo telescopic forklifts for clients as a road technician.

Tasks

-Employ diagnostic methodologies to determine repairs required over the telephone and on site. -Promote Manulift values to existing and potential clients. -Efficiently plan and manage repairs and scheduled maintenance. -Explain diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals. -Participation in team activities, recognition evenings and family days. -Order parts needed to repair and maintain equipment. -Follow procedures for Warranty work and parts crediting. -Complete the various service documents clearly within the prescribed time.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; -Advanced knowledge in hydraulics, electrical and electronic; -Strong written and oral communication skills. -3 years of experience as a road technician; -Good work ethic, meticulous, motivated and independent; -Solid aptitude in diagnostic; -Diploma in mechanics (heavy equipment); -5 – 10 years of experience as a heavy-duty or construction equipment mechanic; -Group RRSPs and DPSPs.
