Design and integrate micro‑speaker transducers for AR/VR hardware using CAD and DFM.

Tasks

-Contribute to the architectural design of hardware devices in AR and VR. -Design and develop audio transducer integration for custom speaker modules. -Employ 3D/2D CAD for design and development processes. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and functionality. -Utilize Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. -Conduct statistical tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing techniques such as stamping, machining, and injection molding. -Strong knowledge of material properties including plastics, metals, adhesives, and glass. -Proficiency in mechanical design and SolidWorks. -Experience with testing and analysis techniques such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and mold flow analysis. -Proficiency in DFM, DFA, and statistical tolerance analysis techniques. -Experience with small form factors such as headphones and smartwatches. -At least 4 years of relevant product design and development experience focusing on micro-speakers in high-volume consumer electronics.
