Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

Support financial reporting & consolidation for North American Bus & Coach unit.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Work closely with External Reporting team on financial statement note disclosures and other consolidation requests -Eliminating intercompany balances. -Assist with internal and external audit requests -Preparing balance sheet reconciliations -Preparation of consolidated financial statements to provide to parent company for consolidations, including income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flow, and statement of shareholders' equity -Monthly calculations for historical rates and FX -Support and interact with various functional groups within Finance and Operations -Manage accounting of property and equipment leases

What You Bring

-Analytical problem solver with capabilities to work within a fast-paced team environment -Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication -Knowledge of IFRS -Completion of a professional accounting designation or enrolment in an accounting program (CPA) considered an asset -Experience with Oracle considered an asset -Prior experience in a finance/accounting function -Strong organization and interpersonal skills -Upto 5% travel is required in this position. -Completion of a business degree/diploma or relevant combination of education and experience -Strong MS Excel skills and ability to learn new systems
