Tasks

Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance quality processes. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality plans to determine inspection criteria. Assist with calibration, maintenance, and control of quality inspection equipment. Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and gauges to verify product compliance. Document inspection results accurately using company quality software, spreadsheets, and databases. Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives in collaboration with engineering and production teams. Prepare and maintain quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Perform in-process and final inspections of HVAC systems, electrical assemblies, sheet metal components, and mechanical parts in accordance with company and industry standards.

What You Bring

We are seeking an Intermediate Quality Technician to join our Quality team. This role supports our manufacturing and field service operations by performing inspections, tests, and documentation to ensure our products meet strict safety, compliance, and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of quality control processes, mechanical and electrical inspection methods, and the ability to utilize computer-based tools for reporting and analysis. 1–3 years of quality inspection or technician experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably HVAC, electrical, or mechanical equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn specialized quality software. Experience using standard inspection tools and electrical test equipment. Strong reading and interpretation skills for technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. May require standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
