Tasks

-Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, codes, regulations, and industry construction practices throughout project implementation -Uphold compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements, maintaining high standards of project performance -Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders at the site level to facilitate smooth project operations -Plan, organize, and oversee the project scope, schedule, and resource management to ensure efficient execution of EHV substation projects -Provide leadership in managing, supervising, and mentoring the site team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture -Actively resolve any issues, conflicts, or disputes that may arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining project momentum -Monitor and drive the execution/completion of projects within designated schedules and budget constraints, proactively identifying and mitigating risks

What You Bring

-Proficiency across various aspects of substation projects including design, engineering, construction, and testing & commissioning -Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in outdoor and indoor substations, preferably 330kV or higher (ideally 500kV) -Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field -In-depth knowledge of Australian and international standards, codes, and regulations governing EHV substation projects -Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Primavera, MS Office, with experience in SynCons considered advantageous
