Tasks
-Serve as a key member of the environmental group with the ability to step in and immediately assist remediation projects in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. -Prepare and/or review written communications and technical deliverables. -Lead project teams with the interpretation, evaluation, and summarization of subsurface data with other multidisciplinary team members to assess the impact and implications to project goals. -Demonstrate and apply technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks. -Plan all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols. -Engage in internal and external communications with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. -Assist the project management team throughout the project lifecycle, including cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, resource allocation, project planning, task delegation, and financial management. -Split time between completing technical tasks such as field assignments, reporting, and analysis with task management and project management support activities. -Collaborate closely with project teams, field teams, and health and safety personnel to address client goals and objectives, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, budget, schedule, and safety requirements are met. -Plan and manage site characterization programs and coordinate field investigations. -Coach, mentor, and direct junior staff to ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, including field activities and preparation of technical reports and deliverables, while facilitating knowledge transfer for team development.

What You Bring
-6+ years of relevant consulting experience in California with environmental regulations, environmental investigations, site characterization, remediation technologies, operation and maintenance, and construction. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. -Proficient computer literacy skills including use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) and the ability to learn various software needed to support financial management, diverse project needs, and client requirements. -Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related environmental field. -Master’s degree in Geology or related field. -Professional CA registration or certification, as applicable. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Leverage understanding of technical scopes of work for assigned work and their alignment with overall project objectives to deliver quality assignments.
