Lead Project Delivery: Oversee all phases of land development projects, ensuring technical excellence, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
Lead the Land Development team for the Greater Toronto Area within the Energy and Sustainable Cities Business Line and in collaboration with the Executive Vice President including Client and Business Development, Financial Management, People Management and Development and Strategic Planning.
Lead Business Development Initiatives: Oversee all pursuits, proposals, and client facing initiatives in order to win work, including working with other Egis teams and divisions.
Sustainable Urban Planning: Shape large-scale, sustainable communities that meet urban challenges around housing, land supply, and infrastructure.
Develop and Maintain Relationships with industry professionals, consultants and other business leaders to help grow the business.
Provide guidance and Oversight in the preparation of proposals, development of work plans, schedules, budgets, fees and negotiations;
Collaboration and Integration: Act as a skilled lead consultant, coordinating diverse technical areas including master planning, engineering, surveying, and approvals to deliver cohesive, impactful urban spaces.

15+ years
Has worked in, or understands the consulting engineering environment;
Strong project management experience including proper project set-up, scheduling, invoicing, (experience with financial software such as Deltek or oracle would be an asset);
Completion of a university degree in Civil Engineering;
Working knowledge of modelling software (AutoCAD, Microstation, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, EPANET, etc.);
Proven track record of leading Engineering teams;
Professional Engineer in Ontario;
Sound understanding of the land development process including the planning act and applicable subdivision and site plan approval process;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French would also be an asset);
Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, time management and ability to think creatively;
15+ years of project management on land development projects;
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team;
