Fabricate and finish architectural doors per specifications, ensuring quality and proper hardware.

Tasks
-Senior Door Shop Personnel may review fabrication orders, provide instruction, and offer any assistance to other Door Shop Personnel (final quality lies with the individual performing the work) -After completion of the fabrication order, sign the order confirming the customer’s requirements have been met -Gather correct hardware if installation is required -Perform a general length and width measurement to double check specified size then perform specific operations on the door per the fabrication instructions -Review fabrication orders for specific instructions -Gather required door(s) ensuring the correct product is identified by the door description, size, and type (oak, birch, etc.)

What You Bring
-Problem-solving skills -Ability to read blue prints and measure accurately -High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience -MIG welding experience -Precision, accuracy and attention to detail are important so that doors, frames and hardware can be installed properly and necessary mechanical components align -High quality of work as doors will be finish painted or stained and in the case of wood doors, will be at times installed with natural finish -Basic math skills required, including adding and subtracting fractions -Ability to coordinate with warehouse, detailing and installation staffs important -Experience working with low voltage installation and testing equipment -Able to lift 75+ pounds -Detail oriented -Ability to work with hand and electric tools -Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
