The Role

Overview

Lead electrical building services design, manage team, ensure delivery for infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Plan the project works and provide forward view resource forecasting to enable the team leader to allocate suitable resource to the projects. -Management of a team of Electrical engineers on allocated projects. -Maintaining good relationships with Engineers from other internal discipline teams to promote good inter-discipline working relationships and a “One Team” ethos. -Ensuring the training and development needs of the electrical team are met to serve the clients’/projects requirements. -Provide monthly cost to complete forecasts to the SYSTRA Project Management Team. -Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed budget. -Ensuring projects are completed to meet all client’s requirements and applicable standards. -Identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise the changes with the SYSTRA Project Management Team. -Maintaining good relationships with all external parties to enhance the reputation of the company. -Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed project programme.

What You Bring

-Experience in working with offshore Production Centres -Ideally an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer -Reporting (Safety is knowledge - we report every incident and take immediate remedial action) -Qualified to HNC or equivalent -Detailed knowledge of electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure including low voltage distribution, lighting, small power, containment, earthing, fire alarms and intruder alarms -Experience with Electric Vehicle charging point infrastructure design would be advantageous -Good communication and presentation skills for external presentations to clients. -Have a good understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and requirements. -Detailed knowledge of construction principles and standard -Significant engineering design and site experience in a similar consultancy or contractor organisation -Detailed knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with M&E and building services -This role requires considerable professional experience and expertise in order to manage complex or non-standard design solutions.
